Votran to operate beachside Speedway Express to Daytona 300 and 500

The Beachside Speedway Express is off to the races. Saturday, Feb. 16, and Sunday, Feb. 17, Votran will operate the Beachside Speedway Express bus between the Ocean Center Parking Garage and Daytona International Speedway.

The bus will pick up passengers at the Votran Intermodal Transit Facility (ITF) on the ground floor of the Earl Street parking garage across from the Ocean Center. Dropoff and post-race pickup will be near building six (First Data Corporation).

The cost is $10 per round trip. Tickets will be available at the ITF on race days. Race fans can park in the garage between Earl and Ora streets off Atlantic Avenue for the standard garage rates.

Shuttles will leave the ITF continuously:

• Saturday , Feb. 16
  The shuttle begins at 10a.m. and run until the green flag. Return trips will be made continuously for one hour following the race.
• Sunday, Feb. 17
  The shuttle begins at 11:30 a.m. and runs until the green flag. Return trips will be made continuously for one hour following the race.

A free shuttle will run along S.R. A1A picking up Speedway Express riders on the east side of the road and taking them to the ITF. The shuttle will run again after the races for a return trip along S.R. A1A.
